Arturo Lopez was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, and has worked with youth both in Central America and the United States.

After arriving to the U.S. in 1983, Arturo became a long-time community organizer within immigrant and refugee communities from Central America. His experience working with marginalized youth and families has been invaluable to JRJI’s ministry.

Arturo brings deep compassion and cultural understanding to his work with incarcerated individuals and their families.
