May 2021: “Mother’s Day” Mass
Fr. Michael Kennedy, S.J. and the JRJI Team filmed a Mass with the theme of “Mother’s Day”. Bobby shared a reflection in the English Mass and Arturo shared a reflection in the Spanish Mass about how this theme has played out in their own lives. We thank Fr. Eddie Sibert, S.J., and Loyola Productions, Inc for their assistance in filming and producing the video. We could not have done this without their help! The Mass was shown on the CDCR TV channels during the first weeks of May.

Bobby compartió una reflexión en la Misa de ingles y Arturo compartió una reflexión en la Misa de español de como este tema ha manifestado en sus propias vidas. April 2021: “Bringing Life Out of Death” Mass
Fr. Michael Kennedy, S.J., and the JRJI filmed an Easter Mass with the theme of “Bringing Life Out of Death”. Bobby and Arturo shared their personal reflections on how this theme has played out in their own lives. We thank Fr. Eddie Siebert, S.J., and Loyola Productions, Inc. for their assistance in filming and producing the video. The Mass was shown on the CDCR TV channels during the first week of April.

Padre Michael Kennedy, S.J., y el equipo de JRJI filmaron una Misa de Pascua con el tema “Sacando Vida de la Muerte”. Bobby y Arturo compartieron sus reflexiones personales de como este tema ha manifestado en sus propias vidas. March 2021: "Hope for the Future" Mass
With the help of Fr. Eddie Siebert, SJ of Loyola Productions, Inc., Fr. Michael Kennedy, SJ and the JRJI team filmed a Mass with the theme of “Hope for the Future”. Mr. Carlos Herrera, President of Interior Removal Specialist, Inc, joined the JRJI Team in this month’s Mass. The Mass includes personal reflections from the men inside on hope and music provided by Mr. Arturo Lopez and Mr. Ernie Pelayo. The Mass will appear on the institutional TV Channels in all the prisons up and down the State of California during the third week of March.

Con la ayuda de Padre Eddie Siebert, SJ de Loyola Productions, Inc, Padre Michael Kennedy, SJ y el equipo de JRJI filmaron una Misa con el tema de “Esperanza para el Futuro”. Carlos Herrera, el presidente de Interior Removal Specialist, Inc, asistió con la Misa de este mes. December 2020: Christmas Mass
With the help of Fr. Eddie Siebert, SJ, of Loyola Productions, we are also in the midst of preparing to film a Christmas Mass, celebrated by Fr. Mike and Deacon Bill, which will be broadcast in all of the prisons up and down the state on Christmas Day.
CHISPA by Andrew and Casey Kleczek, captures powerful moments of our work in prisons and features members of the JRJI team and retreat participants at Ironwood State Prison. CHISPA journeys through the stories of men who are incarcerated and were formerly incarcerated, and how God helped them find healing and forgiveness on their paths to transformation.
